Chris/Carol,

I can't contribute much to the quad/bike issue but Janice and I just wanted to let you both know how much of a positive impact your track has had on our two grandsons the last few years.  They got interested watching Justin and their enthusiasm took off the first time we showed up with the little Yamaha 90.  I can do enough simple math to determine you do not operate the track to make a huge profit (if any at all).  I understand why you got into it for your sons as we involve our grandsons for the same reasons.  They are truly novice riders but still enjoy riding as much as anyone else.  You both have always welcomed us to your track and we appreciate it.  We know nothing lasts forever but we will  continue to patronize LAMX when we can as long as the boys are interested.  Just wanted to let you know your efforts/work are appreciated.

I to wasn't going to say anything and there will always be that battle (if you want to call it that between quads & bikes) because as some have stated earlier bikes & quad like different things in a track. I personally ride quads due to my physical disability that keeps me from riding a bike. I hate that we are loosing another track and another place to ride haven't been to the tracks yet due to mechanical problems with the bike so I can not comment on how certain track owners feel about quads at there tracks but do know that when I raced back in 2001-2002 there were several tracks that made it clear they didn't care for quads on there track but I was never banned. I hope the issue can be resolved as I am really looking forward to this year series and finally getting back to racing

Chris, That makes alot of sense to pull the quads from the GCCS because of a complaint from one rider and a stupid quad rider that damaged your track, which I think the authorities should deal with him for the damage.  But we enjoy racing the GCCS, but I would like to say that I have raced at Cook Ave. last year on a quad and I would love to again, but I see they chose to make their race MX only as well.  That really makes us feel like we are not wanted in the MX community, but if you have a local race, you can bet I will be there and will race right by myself, as I have done before at County Line, I just love to ride.  I would also like to say, that you do have an awesome facility and you do groom the track for the quad riders when we have a race there and we thank you for that.... I AM NOT BASHING MX RIDERS, this is just my two cents on the matter.......Quad riders you can go to sequads.com or atvmotocross.com and find all the quadracing you care to do..........oh yea thanks for adding the quad open class so we can race two classes now.

I just got off the phone with Chris Bumpers.  This goes out to all local track owners.  Man to man/gal,  I'm deeply/truly SORRY for letting my opinion get out of hand.  At first it wasn't meant to be that way and it ended that way.  I guess it getting so close to nationals not having a place to ride got the better of me.  I do understand the work and money you guys/ gals put it.  I'm not trying to save face, I'm man enough to say I'm wrong when I'm wrong in front of everyone on this forum.  Liked I said before, Chris you have the best maintained track I have rode.  If the Atmore and mossey head took offence, I havn't heard any bad talk about quads thats Why i said excluding you.

Last word and I am done.  Per Mill Creek  they do not let quads practice(check out their web sit and JMR forum).  They have quad days for practice just like I was offering and they have separate quad races.  They do not and will not treat them equal.    Are you still going to support that track or does your rule of not supporting the tracks that treat quads different only apply to the local guys.  Check out the other national track rules too.  I have tried calling both of you and I just talked to Doug.  Maybe we're OK now.  Good Luck.

I am.  I deleted ATVMX-32 and will delete this one as well.  You just can't let it go.  You have to have the last word.  I'm going to let you say that I'm boycoting the GCCS.  I've enjoyed to GCCS series.  It been a great stepping stone and starting point.  Now I'm moving on to the nationals.  Thank you to all the local tracks  Good stab and lazy track owner nice way to play the crowd.  I'm 35 yr old and been around the world more times then I can count.  Seeing things that no one should see.  Your not going to rattle my cage.

Doug,  I don't hate quads and never have.  I even prefer the quad racing.   I did say that if John did not race quads that I would not have  allow quads but John raced quads and I promoted the quad racing.  When I said John has moved on, I mean  he is moving on.  To Auburn .  He has a trailer up there with a shed for his Quad.  He will be riding at War Eagle Motocross(or so he says,  we will see).  John tried to ride at our track a month ago and I would not let him,  the track could not handle it. He has not rode in 4to 5 months because the track could not handle the quads.   It was not about the quads until you and quaddad made it to be about the quads,  IT WAS ABOUT THE TRACK.   I haven't twisted anything y'all have said. I just read what you wrote.  By the way I thought you were out of here.   I am going to call you.   thanks,   Chris (the Lazy trackowner).  My # has always been available.

Chris, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.  You are twisting mine and quaddad words around to your benefit.  If you read my reply in the text is was stating.  Its like track owners don't want quads to be apart of motocross and there track.  I said, Really you should make the GCCS for bikes only.  It was being sarcastic, because of the way quads are hated.  YOU SAID TO MY FACE THAT IF JOHN WASN'T RIDING QUADS YOU WOULD NOT LET QUADS ON YOUR TRACK.  Call me a lier.  There were other people standing there when you said that.  You are the type for person that tells you straight up, I have respected that up till now.  You are just trying to make yourself look good on this forum.  You have also said that you wouldn't cater to 3 or 4 quads the cost out ways the need.  Thats were quaddad was coming from.   I just don't see why quads are hated.  AT NO @#$%'n time did quaddad or myself tell the other riders on this forum to boycot the GCCS.  That is all on you brother.  DO NOT TRY TO PUT IT OFF ON ME OR QUADDAD.  I did not call you directly LAZY.  This is the BS that I hear by several track owners excluding STONE COUNTY, ATMORE and MOSSEY HEAD. 1) Have to water the track more when quads are around.  2) You Quad riders have to stay out of the inside lane in the corners (YOU SAID THAT ONE)  3)You blow all the dirt out of the corners and have to run the tractor more. Its just easier to ban quads then do alil more work.  I went to every GCCS race in 2009, and only missed 1 in 2008.  I enjoyed the hell out of the series.  I never said that i wouldn't run the 2010 GCCS either.  I know what I wrote, you don't need to tell me.  I'm not track owner bashing.  I WANT TO KNOW THE REAL REASON YOU AND OTHERS BAN QUADS.  Hell if the track needs watering give me a hose I'll water it, track needs to be groomed alil, put me in a tractor i dont mind.  I have done earth work all over the world.  WHAT WAS SAID IS SAID.  Your digging that hole you were talking about.  You wanna talk heres my number 228-235-0381!!!!!!

in your book but not mine and hopefully others that are following this thread. you have managed to pretty much twist everything i said during this conversation. i know what i said and i know what i meant and you can twist it to your favor all you want. hopefully the other tracks will see through this and see there was no disrespect to you or them. you did what you had to do and i did what i had to do and it has nothing to do with anyone else.

Putting it on here is promoting it in my book.  You are trying to get people to follow your lead of a boycot. If that is your personal feeling you could have kept them to yourself or called me personally and instead promoting it on this forum.
