How's it going! last weekend I went to Winterball with Amber. I even had to sign a form because I do not attend Foley High School anymore. I'm so glad I got out of that place. It was the worst. The dance was very fun. I thought it was going to be lame when we first got there, but after callouts it finally started up! I've attached a picture below. What can I say...ha ha! The next day we ( dad, amber and I) went out to Mossy Head to watch the race. It was super cold, and i cannot imagine how the riders were feeling. Mr. Kevin called me right before I got there and asked me to go by a pick up Garet's 65. I didn't have my truck so I told him I'd take his when I arrived to the track. When I got there I hopped in his truck and put my wallet in the center console. I drove it over to his camper to tell him I was headed to his house to get Garet's bike. He told me to not worry about and that he didn't really need it anyway. So I said OK, and walked around the pits with Amber the rest of the day. I caught up with a few parties of people since it had been so long! I really need to get out more! The turnout was as I expected...pitiful. There were not even a hundred entrees. Come on people we can do better than this! Just because it's cold and wet out doesn't mean that you cannot ride your dirtbike. It's called a DIRTbike for a reason. It's supposed to get mud on it! I understand that for most of us money is an issue. But that doesn't need to stop our love for motocross!
Well guys and gals, its nice sharing this weekends article with you. I sure hope you all are enjoying these posting every couple weeks. Because it's all for you, ha ha! Let's all keep Cary Helton in our prayers for a speedy recovery. For all who didn't know, he had a nasty crash at Atmore MX a couple weeks ago. He broke his collarbone in 3 places. He had surgery the following Monday and they put some hardware in him. He said he's always wanted some hardware, so now he finally got it, hahaha! Good Luck Cary!
